What can we say about Alissa and Clint? Well, first of all - they kick ass. Like seriously, smart, fearless, ridiculously gracious, bold and so loving. When one of our favorite wedding planners ever, Maria Socha with Sealed With A Kiss planning brings us a couple, we know we’re going to be in the best of company, and these two were simply awesome to work with.
I mean, it should come as no surprise to any of our fans that we. love. color. Yes, we also enjoy uber modern meets minimalist design, and we feel happy when there’s a delicate balance of white space, and really meticulously laid out typesetting with just the right spacing and a super chic font, but we really excel at all things color.
Alissa’s vision was that of a vibrant Santa Fe sunset - which they knew the’d get with their wedding at the Four Season’s Santa Fe. Arguably one of our favorite venues in Santa Fe, the Four Season’s boasts gorgeous amenities surrounded by the most beautiful desert landscaping, and is the perfect spot for a true New Mexico sunset.
I mean, that view just won’t quit!
When you’re in the wedding industry, you tend to get excited about the little details, the small things that the couple has made a priority, that bring together their entire day. For us, this often involves the shoes, because…. SHOES!!!! Call us sorcerers if you like, but we think that the invitations we created were a perfect match for the brides’ gorgeous heels - which we hadn’t even seen yet!!!
Wanna know what else we’re suckers for? Those getting ready shots… something about watching a couple prepare for such a love-filled moment gives us all the heart eyes.
Alissa’s color-filled vibe didn’t stop with the invitations and shoes, her whole day was filled with unexpected pops of color, in the most refined and elegant ways! Just check out the hand dyed silk scarf she chose to rock, rather than a traditional veil. And let’s not forget the bouquet (created by Floral Fetish), a perfectly wild mix of wild flowers, foliage and succulents.
The fun didn’t stop there either - their bridal party, a mix of cherished friends and loved ones was filled with jeweled tones, laughter and love.
That emerald green dress is gorgeous, ammiright?
Another little favorite, these vellum ceremony programs - a fan style in the brides’ signature bold color palette and the most luscious sunset orange hand dyed silk ribbon. To. Die. For.
Their reception was indoor, with classic white linens, and pops of color brought in with the flowers, centerpieces, and our personal fav - their color coded escort cards!
This wedding was definitely one for the books for us - and the icing on the cake? The special guests who arrived in time for the party!
These guys are welcome anytime!!!
We’re pretty sure that Clint and Alissa’s day marks the beginning of their happily ever after, and we wish them both the very best!
